Executive Summary
The favor principle asserts that giftedness and training are not enough; to be effective as leaders we will need the favor of God. There is a difference between the favor of God, and the power of God. The power of God moves in or through us to impact others to advance God’s kingdom. The favor of God moves in or through others to open doors for us to advance God’s kingdom. Joseph’s life shows how God’s favor took him from being sold into slavery to second in command of Egypt.
So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”
